CHRISTOPHER S. NELSON, Attorney
Born in Miami, Christopher S. Nelson is a South Florida native, and a third generation South Florida lawyer. Christopher graduated from Florida State University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He began actively working in Dade and Monroe County during his clerkship in Law School with a trial firm that specialized in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Upon being admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, Christopher continued with the same firm representing Plaintiffs in the Florida Keys and throughout the State of Florida. In December of 2006, Christopher along with his wife and law partner Tayreen accepted an offer to work for Ralph Cunningham’s law firm in the heart of the Middle Keys at the foot of the Seven Mile Bridge in Marathon, Florida. While practicing in Marathon, Christopher took advantage of the wide variety of matters he encountered and broadened his practice to include a successful family law practice, he began representing one of the largest Banks in the State of Florida, he represented numerous Condominium and Homeowner’s Associations, clients on both sides of the mortgage foreclosure onslaught that has taken place over the last 5 years, and built a criminal defense practice during his time in the Middle Keys. Christopher Nelson currently represents Plaintiffs and Defendants in virtually all types of civil and criminal litigation, and serves as general counsel for numerous Business Entities throughout the State of Florida and the Florida Keys.

TAYREEN GAIL FEBLES-NELSON, Of Counsel
Tayreen Gail Febles-Nelson, also born and raised in South Florida, earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. Tayreen began her legal career in 2004 as a sole practitioner practicing in the fields of Bankruptcy and Immigration Law in State and Federal Court in Dade, Broward and Monroe County, Florida. In December of 2006, she and her husband Christopher accepted an offer to join Ralph Cunningham’s law firm in Marathon, Florida. During her time in Marathon, Tayreen expanded her Immigration and Bankruptcy practice to include Probate and Estate Planning and Litigation, representing buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions, and writing Title Insurance policies for the The Fund as an agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Tayreen is also fluent in Spanish, and has enjoyed being able to fill the much needed niche of a Spanish Speaking, Federally and State licensed attorney to assist the members of her community who are only able to comfortably converse in Spanish. Tayreen provides of counsel support to Christopher S. Nelson, P.A. on matters related to real estate, probate and immigration law.
